A practice cake really – practicing sugar flowers, practicing covering cakes, practicing stencilling and practicing arranging flowers. I think it’s fair to say I’m well and truly hooked….

Inspiration: Petalsweet (although my roses are not how Jacqueline does her’s) and Leslea Matsis Cakes (although none of my flowers are not like she does hers either!). But we have to keep trying! :-)

Lovely, are they wired flowers? or just royal iced to the cake?

Hi Cheryl – they are wired or tooth-picked, except for one little hydrangea, which is royal-iced on.

Thanks so mich everyone – I’ve been a bit obsessed the last few days, I must admit. Can’t wait for the next time I get to play with cake, but for now I have to get back to the family and housework :-)
