St. Simons Island Lighthouse Cake

Made this cake for my sister and brother-in-law’s going away party. They have retired and are moving to St. Simons Island, Georgia. St. Simons is known for their lighthouse. I hope I did it justice! The cake is a 10” Mounds Bar cake with buttercream icing. The shells, etc. are made of white and milk chocolate. The lighthouse is a paper towel roll covered in fondant with a flameless tealight for the “light”. I made the dune fencing of balsa wood stained with food coloring. My sister loved the cake! That is what is most important to me! Special thanks to Cake Hatteras. Their beautiful beach cakes definitely inspired me! Thanks for looking!
