This is my first inlaid wedding cake design. It has taken me a long time to find a way to use the inlaid frame in a design that I love. This cake was inspired by the nutcracker ballet production. Its whimsical and feminine in design. I have created sugar flowers to look like they are made from material, and finished the center of my dogwood flowers with jewels. I am really pleased with the finish.
