This wedding cake was designed to match the sculpted shapes of the birdcage table centrepieces. The couple’s colour scheme was purple, which I brought out in the ranunculus, hydrangea blossoms and calla lilies, but the bride was also having some pink Faith roses in her bouquet so I created these spiraling centred roses to match. I also mirrored details from the couple’s stationery with the two birds and the heart-shaped motif at the base.
