Pink Ombre Ruffle and Textured Buttercream Wedding Cake

This is the tallest wedding cake I’ve ever made! It stood 3 and a half feet tall! The bride wanted a cake with lots of texture, and she also loved the ombre look, so this is what I designed. The wedding colors were different shades of pink, lime green and accents of navy. Other than the fresh hydrangeas, the cake is covered in all buttercream.

Thank you so much!! The whole reception was filled with bright pinks and lime green with navy table cloths. It just went so well together. I was afraid the cake might have been a bit “loud” but it looked great with all the other decor. :-)
