Harry Potter baby shower cake – Inspired by the Sorting Hat song, I came up with the idea of a “House reveal” cake instead of the gender reveal, as the parents don’t want to reveal the sex of the baby but are massive Harry Potter fans!
The house motos from the song are framed around the cake and when the cake is cut, the colours will reveal the chosen house – much like the sorting hat decides the houses in the books/films.
The floating candles were inspired but the scene in the great hall.
