The bride wanted a romantic wedding cake with many pearls and many special handmade details. For the bottom tier, I placed each sugar pearl by hand, one at a time, after I created a pattern I liked. The middle tier has a very pale shade of “Tiffany blue”, with strings of lace-like pieces. The top tier had strings of pearls handing down and finally, the topper was made by completely covering a letter “R” in edible pearls.

Oh my goodness. Thank you so very much for your kindness Whitecrafty! This cake did take so many hours! I have to be honest that I was nervous about the expectations. I prayed while I was working. You’d be amazed how many Hail Marys you can get in while applying that many pearls. ;D (hugs)
