This cake was a labour of love for my dear friend of 47 years. This was my gift to her for her party. Decided to do rustic wood grain/semi elegant. Sheet cake is black forest with cherry filling. Top tier is carrot cake filled with cherry/cream cheese flavoured bc. Colours were sapphire blue and silver, which I guess I nailed cause Elaine loved it..yeah..😆 Made a rustic floral wreath as a keepsake. Flowers are clay craft clay hydrangeas and cold porcelain. Purple roses are cold porcelain.
