My Work for The collaboration Everyone’s story matters
I´ve choosen the favourite book of my three kids when they were still very young (a long time ago ;). Its about the spanish ilustrated book „Un culete independiente“ (An independent Bum) from José Luis Cortés and ilustrated from Avi (Pilar Giménez Avilés) tells the story about the bum of César Pompeyo, a naughty little boy who received so much lashes that one day, the bum, fed up, decided to leave…Cesar woke up without bum! “No Problem! I don´t need a bum”, he said!!! But soon he realized the inconveniences: No more sitting, no more bicycle rides, and a huge list of things he couldn’t do any more….
hope you like it. (mor fotos on my Facebook ;) )
To celebrate International Literacy Day, a group of cake artists, from around the world, decided to honour all of the stories that matter to us, and to our children. William Joyce says it best in one of his books “Everyone’s story matters,” and we completely agree.
This year we are raising money for ALS Research, a disease that is 100% fatal. Over 5000 people are diagnosed with ALS every year, and life expectancy is 2-5 years. Help us share this story by donating what you can to allow this invaluable research and assistance to continue. Everyone’s story matters.
