I made this birthday cake for my daughter who turned 5 a few days ago. We discussed a few ideas and she decided on a minion cake in the end as she loves the Despicable Me films and saw the 3rd one a few weeks back. I’ve made a sitting minion cake before (Dave!) so went for a standing one this time (Stuart!) ready for her party. He’s six inches in diameter and over a foot tall with his hat on. Inside was lemon cake with lemon buttercream and covered in white chocolate ganache.
