I made this cake for a friend’s daughter who was turning 2! There were a few harrowing moments with this cake as the first support that I had built didn’t work. My cake started to tip and I had to have my daughter come hold it up while I dismantled it (good thing she wasn’t in school yet!). I rethought the support and built a new one and the cake ended up working out great after that. Whew! TFL.

Awesome job! Love it! How big is it? I remember Kerrin of Cakes by Kerrin doing one that was as tall as the birthday boy!

I didn’t measure it, but I think it was about 2 feet tall. I’m pretty sure the birthday girl was a little taller than the cake. :) Yes, Kerrin did one that 3 scoops high and a pile of “whipped cream” on top that I believe was a jumbo cupcake. So quite a bit taller than the one I made.

How did you make the support for this? I built a support for my Tangled cakes but I’d be interested on how you built the support for this cake. Beautiful cake, by the way!!
