This was a bit of fun for a surprise 70th party for a lady in the village. She loves colour, whacky art and holidays in Ibiza, so I found a street art pic by David Walker on the net to inspire me. A lot of sloshing and slopping about with the paintbrush, not to be taken seriously of course! The colours were to remind Robin of her youth in the 60s!

I also made a little bit of cold porcelain bougainvillea for a keepsake. Robin was thrilled to bits and totally taken aback with everyone’s efforts. Colourful food and exotic salads and plenty of bubbly, fabulous! The gumpaste flower in her hair wilted in the humidity of the kitchen but it all added to the fun.

Thanks for looking!

Cool cake, I love graffiti , your one is a bit ’ impressionist influenced’ graffiti :) I once got asked to do a cake with graffiti and tele tubby, and once Breakfast in Tiffany’s cake ruined by graffiti. Must remember to post those here, they were fantastic to make!
