I was so happy to be asked to make this fruit cake for a couple’s 60th Wedding Anniversary. This was in the likeness of the car they owned and went on honeymoon with. They have not cut it yet. The flowers are made with cold porcelain and comprise the flowers that were in her wedding bouquet, roses, lily of the valley and stephanotis.

This car cake proved more challenging than usual on account of the lack of information out there but using various photos I worked out the rough measurements. Not exactly perfect but they were so overjoyed and I was told that the wife of the couple was moved to tears. After the stress with the humidity versus the front wings, I tell you, that moved me to tears (of relief!) too!
