Looking through my old cake pictures I found this one which is one of the first fondant covered cakes I made many years ago. It was for my husbands birthday. I did not frost the cake with butter cream before covering it with the fondant because my husband does not like frosting, I covered it with a thin layer of apricot preserves instead of frosting. Made the roses out of chocolate fondant
