This is my piece for the Wedding Cakes inspired by Barbie Fashion.

My design was inspired by TOKYO FLAIR Barbie by Magia 2000 Italy, Designers Mario Paglino & Gianni Grossi.

The moment I saw those Taffeta appliques around the waist in such vibrant and contrasting colours I knew I wanted to have a go on a Cake. More so, I wanted them to be pretty much the same! As it is a Wedding Cake take, I added flowers around and for the texturing I overlaid different laces to give some depth to it.
