This was my Sputnikfest cake contest entry (A piece of the Sputnik sattelite crashed here in 1962 and now they have a festival about aliens- I don’t know why but it’s goofy and silly- both things I enjoy). E.T. is sour cream pound cake with gananche icing and covered in modeling chocolate. The Sputnik is styro covered in modeling chocolate because my cereal treats wouldn’t get hard for some reason:( which is also why E.T. is not wearing a cheesehead (I’m in Wisconsin) as the RKT wouldn’t get hard and I ran out of modeling chocolate
