2017 Sugar Art for Autism - Maja cake

2017 Sugar Art for Autism - Maja cake

1 in 68 is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorder.
My 2017 Sugar Art for Autism collaboration piece is all about my daughter, who is on the spectrum.
Autism has effected her expressive and receptive language + she also displays other minor autistic traits. Regardless of this, her imagination and playfulness is that of any child her age. She enjoys dress ups and role playing, in particular pretending to be a princess ❤️

Thank you Heba, she did like her cake very much. In one of the pix you can see her smelling it. If I’m ever working with fondant in the kitchen, she is able to sniff it out at the front door as soon as she comes home from school. One of her sensory traits is a heightened sense of smell. Lucky for me she likes fondants aroma!😁😋
