This turned out to be one of my favourite cakes! It’s just a simple tall 6" chocolate fudge cake, made for my niece who is a sweetie. She wanted to incorporate her favourite things – Zoella, Youtube, Alfie Deyes … and I couldn’t see how to bring them all together into a cohesive design. Anyway, here they feature as edible prints inside little hearts edged with mini flowers and I love the effect. The cake is airbrushed to get the graduated ombre effect. The figure was inspired by a similar model by Alessandra Caldeira.
