This cake was for a Mexican inspired 40th birthday party.Mexico is such an explosion of colour and inspiration but I couldn’t go past Frida.I adore everything about her.The bottom tier is based on the beautiful ceramic tiles of Mexico.Bottom tier was A Mexican spiced chocolate cake with dulche de leche Swiss meringue buttercream and the top tier was key lime cake with a key lime Swiss meringue buttercream.
I loved this theme and hope to explore it more!
