This was our celebration cake to welcome the year of the Rooster. It was an awesome day at my parents’ place – plenty laughters and joy surrounded by happy kids.

I would not believe that red and green would harmonize perfectly!! This beautiful 2 tiers cake was vanilla sponge filled with vanilla buttercream and fresh strawberries.

Bottom tier – vertical ruffles with golden touch.
Tall top tier – plain and simple with handpainted golden Chinese Rooster sign.
Of course there’s Cherry Blossom to give the final touch. The blossoms are made from fondant. The entire cake is 100% edible except flower wires and flower tapes.
