As yesterday was a special day, I’ve decided to paint this cookie with MAGIC COLOURS over royal icing inspired by the poem “THE BIRD”

The bird? Them birds?
Is there but one bird in the whole world
Who flies with a thousand wings, and who sings
Countless trills, always alone?
Are land and sea mirrors, per chance? Is the air
The air’s mirage, and does the great peerless
Bird multiply
Its solitude in a thousand appearances?
(And that’s why
We call them birds?)
Or maybe there’s no bird at all?
And are they,
In their fatal, immense plurality, like the sea,
An innumerable flock, swell of wings
Whereupon we lay our eyes, where our soul
Strives to make out the truth of the sole bird,
Of its boundless essence, of the one and only beauty?
