Ciara - Unicorn Birthday Cake

Ciara arrived over to the house last week with a couple of sketches she had done for her cake. She liked elements of both sketches so I combined them to make this. The cake is a 6" chocolate biscuit cake and both the unicorn and the rainbow are made from sugarpaste.

Your little unicorn is adorable, but I am in love with the finish on the cake! I can’t really figure out how you achieved the subtle pattern on top of the colors! Beautiful!

Sandra…..mits kitchen roll. The colour was too heavy so dabbed some off and …. turns out kitchen roll had lovehearts embossed on it.
