This was wedding cake class conducted by Priyanca, @Polkadots Cake Academy and I’m so happy I took the class which I had said ‘no’ first! Priyanca, I learnt so much from your class being an amateur home baker. A big thankyou!

White and red colours in my cake symbolises the purity and all the love in a marriage. The 5th tier is the actual cake and it’s a square! I feared square, but Priyanca helped me get over it and there I did 3 squares :-)

The 4th and 5th squares are suitcases. The corners are done with the help of silicon moulds and painted in gold. It is dusted with black and red dust. The roses are hand painted and all this gives a nice vintage and elegant feel.

The 3Rd tier is the wedding dress. The dummy is covered in white fondant. The gold is obtained by airbrushing gold on sequins. The gold is bordered with lace.

The 2nd tier is red airbrushing over sequins and corners are gold painted. I used silicon moulds for the corners.

The 1St tier is half sphere cake and half Shere dummy. The most trickiest tier. Its painted with maroon and gold.
