Made a small 6" gluten/egg/milk free cake for my neighbours daughter Lauren. Practice cake for Lauren’s upcoming baby shower. Used Aquafaba (chickpea water) as egg replacement and for the royal icing drip. Made the ganache with almond milk. Lauren’s taking the cake to New Year’s day dinner with family who also have the same sensitivities. Hope she likes the cake, which is mocha vanilla. Made a quickie coffee filter paper large carnation type flower as topper.
