This cake was designed for a junior doctor who had just graduated from medical school. I love a bold graphic so decided to keep the design pretty clean and almost a bit clinical. The printed cardiogram on the top tier is on an edible sugar, with a hand painted red line. The cross was lacquered heavily in confectioners glaze to give it a patent finish. On the side were a few sugar pills – to help the medicine go down!
