Well just for a change I made some cake this week!!

The difference was it was for me………I was 21 again…!! haha
I’ve been wanting to try out making a Drip cake so I thought if I made one for me and it wasn’t too good it didn’t matter too much.
I was quite pleased with the result but next time I’ll make the ganache runnier so it doesn’t look so chunky.
The cake is a Toffee apple layer cake – caramel sponge villed with dulce de leche and bramley apples topped with various chocolate bars and apple rings baked in the oven with cinnamon sugar.
I also made some mini cherry bakewell tarts and coffee walnut cupcakes.
They went down very well at the office.
