I choose to represent Serbian traditional music. My inspiration came from ethno motives and folk costumes. First tier have pattern from Pirot’s rug (Pirot is a Serbian city). Second tier have filigree brooch and 4 double flute “dvojnice” which are traditional Serbian instrument. Third tier represent bodice, sleeveless embroidered jacket called “jeleče”. In the middle between third and forth tier are tambourine, commonly used in our music and in the front of them is a folk dancer in typical costume. Last tier have braid and one wooden note. Hope you will enjoy watching my piece like I was enjoying making this cake. Happy international day of music!
