A very special 1st birthday to Mia who turned 1 this week. We were asked by the amazing Sanja of Misami Creations to create her special little girl’s cake who wanted a pink and purple cake with some butterflies. We decided to add the blue bird and flowers to signify that this little girl, who is still nestled in her little nest, will someday spread her wings and fly… In the end, we did add a little more butterfly detail after we had taken the photos which enhanced the presence of butterflies oh so more…. There were so many elements on this cake which we handcrafted and we so ♥ this cake! Thanks again Sanja! xx
