Maple Bacon Cupcakes

A friend challenged me to make these, & I accepted. Vanilla cupcakes with maple frosting & bacon pieces as a garnish. So far, beta testers have wept, gasped, kissed my forehead & proposed marriage (my friends are kind of crazy). Needless to say, they were a hit!
