Oscar the Grouch

This is the cake that awarded me a a Certificate of Merit cake, at Cake International Spring 2016! It was just over 2 feet tall, and 12" in diameter! It took me a few days to make, and then we had to take it on the 4 hour journey on the Friday! Which was not at all fun!

It is one of the biggest cakes i have ever made, but went for the WOW factor instead of the Pristine factor, which lowered me in the marking! Well at least i know for November!

This is adorable! My daughter was Oscar on a Christmas float about 100 years ago and he has always been one of my favorites!
