50 yr old Wedding cake recreated!!

This one-off the most challenging cakes I had to make recently! But the beautiful story behind the design spurred me on ❤️
50 years ago a young gentleman in the navy who was stationed on an island in Denmark was on a night out. He met a young lady who was in the wrens and stationed on an island opposite.They eventually got together and married! The church was on her island and he crossed the bridge to marry his sweetheart. For a surprise for their Golden Wedding Anniversary, Terry commissioned us to recreate their wedding cake!! Romance is still alive! ❤️ Congratulations to you both and we hope we did your lovely story justice!
