Baby Monkey Cake

This cake was for a baby shower in which the mommy-to-be is a diabetic. This is a two tiered cake. The bottom tier is chocolate mocha and the top tier (covered in mini-bananas) is a sugar-free vanilla bean cake. I replicated the cake topper (monkey) from the invitation card. ALL the decorations are made out of gumpaste. BTW, I hand molded 60 mini bananas to cover the 2nd top tier of the cake…whew!
