Here is my piece from the Optical Illusion Collaboration. It has three illusions, and tells a story of falling into Wonderland. The cake board is an illusion of dimension and gives the feeling of falling into Wonderland and meeting the crazy door knobs. The crazy crooked slanted red lines, that are actually all parallel give the impression that Wonderland is not as it seems. And of course, Wonderland is not complete without the Cheshire cat, which is depicted with a face in the leaves / branches illusion in the top hat.

Much of the cake is hand painted and some airbrushing.
