I was so excited to make this cake , I love the book and used to read it to my son when he was little . The cake is based on the lovely artwork from the book , with edible images of the rabbits , hand painted grass and air brushed colour . The grass is done using an extruder. The moon I made using a cake card cut into the shape of a moon and covered with modelling paste and textured with a ball tool . I dusted it to give it a shimmery finish . The water in The little pond is coloured piping gel . Butterflies I hand cut as I didn’t have a cutter small enough X
