My contribution for the dessert table for a family birthday party tomorrow. Unfortunately that meant hubby didn’t get a birthday cake today. This is chocolate cake filled with cherries and mascarpone using a little of the mascarpone filling to crumb coat. Meringues were flavored with freeze dried strawberries since I couldn’t find cherries. Chocolate also has some freeze dried fruit.
