This cake is for my daughter’s birthday. Followed a tutorial on line for the flower which is made with candy melts. Didn’t turn out as nice as the one in the tutorial, but I was happy with it. The cake is a 6 inch chocolate mayonnaise cake made from a scratch recipe I cut out of a magazine years ago of an advertisement for mayonnaise. I have made it many times through the years, but this is the first time I make it for a decorated cake. The filling is French vanilla mousse.
