This is my piece for the Cake Page Circle 2nd birthday collaboration on Facebook, the theme was Local Designers.

I took inspiration for my piece from a particular dress created by Belfast based emerging fashion designer Shauna Faye. Shauna has been in business for 5 years now, the same as myself. Her style is very old school glamour with simple more structured shapes in luxurious textures to accentuate & flatter the female form. Her highlight to date was seeing one of her dresses being worn at the 2016 BAFTAS by Irish actress Eileen O’Higgins. I particularly loved the lace detailing on the dress I designed my piece on, I felt it complimented my style with its elegance and intricacy.
