Mermaid

I got an order for a Barbie cake…. generally I don’t like doing them, but they told me they really wanted a mermaid. Well I checked Pinterest (of course) and found some awesome variations, so decided to try my hand at those! For the tail, I used an impression mat I purchased from Decorate The Cake… loved it! When I delivered it, the 4 year old I made it for (who was amazingly adorable) said “I’ve never seen anything like this in REAL LIFE”. It was awesome….. it’s why I love doing cakes…. for the smiles and happiness it provides others. TFL!
