This was a first attempt at a 3d cake. Not exactly sculpted but cut and pieced from round layers, covered in fondant and then textured. It was a long and surprising night putting this cake together with a mantra of “If this works out, I guess that means I have some cake designing capabilities.” From this cake, I started watching videos and reading posts. I took the plunge into the cake world. So glad I did!
