Orchids: Cold Porcelain

Cake by Callicious Cakes posted 284 days ago 505 views 2 times favorited 3 comments Add to Favorites

I attended a workshop with the very talented Tony Warren and was taught to make these orchids from cold porcelain, which is inedible, but durable and easier to work with than sugarpaste as it is less likely to break and not as fragile. .

These are beautiful. I have never worked with cold porcelain but after seeing your flowers & others on here I am tempted to try.

Thank you both. Yes, give it a try… It’s fun to work with and easier than sugarpaste I find, but it is not edible.
