So excited to share my first professional competition entry. It was organised by SACDG (South African Cake Decorating Guild) and I entered the Advanced Category ( Was thinking of Masters, but chickened out :). Didn’t have very high expectations, because peonies, frills and pink rule around here for a Wedding cake, but what a surprise – Gold and 3rd place! Could’ve been even better if I had time to carry the design around the cake, but it was again a last second work , so typical of me :). Hope you like it!
