Stephanie’s Mom asked me to create a cake for her daughter’s high school graduation and wanted, at first, the theme to be Captain America and Star Wars. The more we talked (over two days’ period), she also said her daughter was into Harry Potter, and would it be crazy or possible to include that in the theme?! When I came up with an idea to incorporate all three, she said she LOVED it. The cake board is decorated in Harry Potter style (broom stick, lightning bolt, emblem, feather, footprints, eye glasses, train track), the cake is decorated in Captain America, the topper and name are decorated in Star Wars. I used Satin Ice fondant and Isomalt (the lenses of the eye glasses) to create this design. The cake itself was chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream.
