Carousel Birthday Cake

I designed this cake for my baby’s first birthday but it did not looks like the sketch. I made a lot of treats and crafts for her party that at the end I could not pulled it off as I wanted but still I am proud of this cake. Every decoration, every detail was handmade by me so when it was time to work on the cake I was so exhausted that I could not finish the horses of the carousel. Thank God my Mom came from Puerto Rico that weekend to attend her grand-daughter first birthday and she made all the horses! :) So, I am giving her all the credit. She did a wonderful job and it was her first time dealing with fondant. I am so proud of her. Love you Mom!
