A friend of the family asked me to make her wedding cake…how honoured was I?!

Sponge tiers and dummy tiers (as not THAT much cake was needed).

My first time quilting, but I’m really please with how that came out.

My second time ‘swagging’ and I have to tell you I was at it til 4 in the morning and nearly threw the whole thing through the window…there were tears and tantrums but I finally got there (and got up 3 hours later to set off on the delivery).

It was only a couple of days later, when the stress had worn off and the calm has started to re-enter that I realised what I had been doing wrong all along. How annoying is that!
