A second 21st birthday cake for my niece. These are two full size rollerskates – all cake, set on a real rollerskate wheel base. I went to great lengths to ensure all the details of her real pair of skates I modelled them from were included in the overall design. Best compliment of all was that my niece thought that I had bought her a new pair of rollerskates as a present. I had an interesting experience bringing this creation to life as it consumed my life for one week, that I was so happy when they were finally completed. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong but I got there in the end.
