I had been waiting for an opportunity to make a Pink and blue cake for a long time and when I got the order to make a baby shower cake incorporating both the colours ,I just had to make one inspired by Leslie Matsis’s Roses ! (Just love her work !)

I especially wanted to bring in the softness of the quilts used for the Oh so cuddly babies and the velvety softness of the rose petals -Just like the rosy cheeks of the babies !
