The brief for this cake was: she loves her horse, she loves her dog, she’s a cowgirl! And she loves funfetti cake! So with pictures of her horse and dog in hand, I set out designing a playful, yet grown-up cowgirl cake. The cake is a scratch funfetti batter with funfetti SMBC and enrobed in white chocolate ganache then covered with fondant. All of the decorations are handmade with fondant and individually painted/dusted. The paisley bandana print is hand painted with cocoa butter and dusts.
