After seeing my Star Wars “Best Buddies” cake, I had a request for a H.P. Lovecraft mashup with Calvin and Hobbes. I have seen a few mashup ideas using this scene from the Calvin and Hobbes comics, including a Cthulhu one, but I changed it up to make the Cthulhu cuter.
I hand painted the cake and log. I modeled the characters out of modeling chocolate.
