Arachne was a mortal woman and talented weaver who challenged Athena, goddess of wisdom and crafts, and was transformed into a spider. Spiders are called “arachnids” after Arachne.

I made this for Cake International last November. She has only one leg on the ground and another one on the tree. Unfortunately her head broke 😪 … Even though, it got a Bronze Award…
This was my entry in the Small Decorative Exhibit class. I also entered in the International class with my Ronaldo (posted here sometime ago), who got Gold. 😃
