I made this cake for my 3 year old daughter, Kaiya. We adopted her 3 years ago, and butterflies have symbolized her and our happiness as a family ever since. :)

Swirled / marbled green and pink fondant, rolled out together in one sheet. Used piping gel for the first time, trying to get the water effect. Hand painted. Gumpaste butterflies attached.
Strawberry ice cream flavored cake, whipping cream icing.
